Want to replace steelies.

I have a 2023 Maverick XL and was looking to replace the factory steelies. My nephew used to work for a national tire chain. He was going over all the specs relevant to find a set of wheels. The factory tires were 225/65R17, RIM 7J17ET37.5, Offset range 35.5-39.5, bolt pattern 5x108 (5x4.25), Thread Size: M14 x 1.5, and lastly Center Bore / Hub Bore: 63.4 mm.

I have found a plethora of wheels that meet all specs EXCEPT ONE. The Center Bore/Hub Bore of 63.4 mm. When I got to sites and enter the truck information (year, make, model, submodel, FWD/AWD, engine transmission a list of compatible wheels appear but often the Center Bore/Hub Bore is 70 or more.

Those of you that went with after market RIMs, who went with aftermarket rims, what did you do?

You can get quality rim "rings" that will adapt the larger bore to the 63.4mm

I went with these, they are 63.4 hub bore;

I went with 17x7.5 Sparco Terra wheels with the stock tire size, 225 65 R17, and they just bolt right on. I have a 23 Hybrid XL.

I got them from Tire Rack and the proper chrome lug nuts with socket were included.

So Happy with Discount Tire, Jose, Mike and the whole crew in Apopka, Florida. This is my 6th.set of rims and tires from them in 25 yrs. I am kind of picky, so I like chrome( old school) ,open design ,so I can clean inside rim easily, no extra bolts and screws to catch wax,and a center cap to cover lugs. Discount was able, when I found the wheel I like, to order for me (Motiv#432c, 20×8.5 5-108 )and I bought them and new continental control contact sport srs+ tires. 245/45 R20.
So even if Discount does not have the rims you like, find them and they can order from manufacture for you,love this.
The original Continental tires have 1 ply sidewall, which I did not like, so changed out at 5400 miles. Funny how tires on truck were single ply sidewall and full spare ( atlas brand) has 2 ply sidewall. Just an observation. Thanks again Discount tire,costumer for life.
