All,
This is my last post, the Maverick and I just didn't work out well together, and i have gotten rid of it.
But i would like to leave you with a fix for the tri-fold if anyone else runs into this issue..

I ordered mine with a tri-fold Tonneau cover.
It came, looked fine, but no matter how hard i tightened it, it would just flap around and cause severe vibrations in the cab. Dealership couldn't figure it out, and Ford kinda just didn't care..
So.. here is the fix..

Here is what i did to fix it.
1. Remove the Tonneau cover from the car..
2. The tie downs closest to the cab fold into the channel, first unscrew the T-handle end, then use a flat head and pry the bottom screw loose, while the Screw is folded into the channel. (there will be a square base, make sure your next screw(s) have this square base. )
3. Go to your local hardware store with your screw, and purchase 2 galvanized hardware versions of it.
Purchase 2 locking nuts, and 2 crush washers, and 2 flat washers.
4. Slide the 2 galvanized screws in place to replace the cheap crap one's that ford gave you.
Put the bed clamp back on.. put the flat washer on, put the crush washer on, and put the locking nut on.
Fasten the nuts in place with a socket. I used some vasaline on the the front rubber trim to seal out water and protect the rubber from dry rot. that's optional obviously..
5. On the bed end there are two pull down brackets, there's nuts in them. On the old F150 version you could spin the handle to tighten it, on this you need a deep well socket to tighten the spring. Using your socking tighten the nut till you have about 1/4in of play in the handle from engaged on the bed rails, unfortuantely there's no way to just say tighten it 4 turns, as the drivers and passengers side on mine were different lengths to lock correctly. then engage it on the bed sides. This will stop the thing from moving around.. if you have issues still, there's adjusters on the interior of the cover toward the cab side, you can slide the cover itself forward or backward to correctly lock it in place. NOTE: don't over tighten it, just make it snug enough that it stops the vibration.

Hopefully this helps someone out..
Sorry no pictures.. I got rid of mine on Monday..

Good luck to everyone..
