Did a little more to my Mav the past couple of weeks. Installed Air Design Fender Flares, black steelies with Michelin Defender 2s and had the windows ceramic tinted to help with the summer heat. I think it's a nice looking truck, but not doing too much.
It was strapped to a dolly that was ratcheted up against the frame. It was fully against the front of the tonneau frame. Just to get out of where I picked it up I had to go to a steep incline where they were redoing a bridge, stop and turn into the main road. I know it looks awkward but it...
I had a 24 built with the tow package and AWD. I was going to go hybrid, but I preferred to have AWD and the option to tow a decent amount of weight. I just did the math and figured it would take me a long time to spend the extra money the hybrid would cost in gas. I don't do a lot of city...
Picked up a refrigerator this morning for my friend down the road. His truck is in the shop. 🤣 Went well strapped the fridge and the dolly down and easily maintained highway speeds on the way back. Smooth ride!

I ordered and installed the Bugflector II a little over a week ago and the holes were aligned perfectly. I had it installed in 10 minutes. Maybe I got lucky it they fixed the issue.
Gator roll up was the tonneau I went with and I am impressed so far. Had rain overnight with it installed for the first time and drove over 60 miles in the rain with it and there was only a tiny amount of water inside the bed. Thoroughly impressed. I did make sure to take my time installing it...
I'd say Musk doesn't really care about EV tax credits. People didn't buy Teslas because of tax credits. They like them. GM was/is sucking at the government tit over EVs. They were positioning to keep pushing full electric but that will change now. Companies are more nimble than 5 year plans.
Ford, GM, they're all going to pivot to hybrids since Trump won. They won't completely abandon full electric though. I'm not going to get too in depth about how I know this but I work side by side in the industry and that's what I'm hearing. It could be nonsense but I don't think so.
Picked up my new Cactus Grey
2024 2.0L Gas XL Mav at Granger yesterday! They were great. I was in and out in 20 minutes.
My add ons were 4K towing, AWD, Ford 360, Spray in bed, Maverick Floor Tray mats, Ford Splash Guards. This morning I installed a Gator Tonneau, AVS Bug Guard II, and Tuff...
Super excited! Did a 24 XL EcoBoost with the Ford 360 and Tow Package. Also went with spray in bed, tray floor liners, and splash guards. I am surprised it was scheduled. I ordered end of July!
I currently own a Hyundai Ioniq Plug in Hybrid and it's been a great car. It really has. I can get 90mpg when I charge it and I get between 47-50 mostly highway driving when it's just in hybrid mode.
However, the direction I'm headed in life and business a small truck was a good option for me...
