OOOOh I cant wait to see the comparisons off road. I bet the Maverick does nearly everything the Taco does. I watched a video the other day of the Badlands Bronco Sport(Tremor benefactor) totally smacking down a Santa Cruz . These Fords punch way above their class. Out here in Maui its a sea of Tacos literally 70% of the people I know drive them. Now they dont even compare to my Comanche but thats too rough for most of them. I cant wait to see how well the Tremor does out here.
Also looking at that intro shot on the video. Just Imagine the difference with a 2" lift kit and 245/70s or 255/70s on the Maverick. I calculated this combo a while back for the approach angles and such and it was something like 2-3 degrees all around. Ground clearance would also be up 2.25". Ofcourse that is an upgrade that would cost less than $1000 after you sold the 235 Falkens. Still would be $12,000 cheaper than the Taco.
Another fun fact. One of the things we want out of our Tremor is to take our nieces and nephew offroading with us. With the Tacos payload capacity we would not be able to bring the fridge/freezer, or chairs, or the dogs, or lunch, or even recovery gear because we would be overloaded. With me, my wife, 3 kids, and 2 dogs, we would still have about 150lbs of legit cargo capacity. Plus its bigger inside.
