According to Ford, without tow package, the frontal aera is limited to 20 sq. ft. With tow package, it's 40 sq. ft.
Some of the promotional material seems to violate this. I have an XL Hybrid with a 10 ft 1800 lb travel trailer. I'm driving myself crazy wondering if I'm going to do damage to the ECVT and/or electric components. The engine seems to handle it without a sweat. I'm under the weight limits. Any cause for concern?
