I suppose we all know by now that the tracking site is somewhat less than accurate. I did not think I was going to get scheduled so I put $1000 refundable down to reserve a 2023 Prius. Naturally I get scheduled a week later. This is my tracking site saga for my Lariat Hybrid Lux Atlas BAP.

Ordered on 09/17/2022
On 06/16/2023 received scheduled email saying would be In Production the week of 07/31/2023, tracker echoed this date
On 07/02/2023 tracker changed In Production to the week of 08/1/2023
On 07/24/2023 tracker said I was In Production
On 08/01/2023 tracker changed In Production date to 08/01/2023
On 08/02/2023 tracker said Built
On 08/03/2023 tracker said Shipped with Estimated Delivery 08/23/2023 - 09/05/2023

Seems unlikely that my Maverick went from In Production to Built to Shipped in three days so the first In Production date of 07/24/2023 was the real In Production date as the tracker originally said. Anyway I am very excited to get my new truck. I have not heard much about Sunnyvale Ford so not yet sure if they will end up being a good dealer. If anyone has any experience with them please let me know.

I was in production on the morning of July 30, built July 31 and shipped August 1. I actually think it's accurate. We got fortunate to be some of the last trucks going out on the train IMO.

Yep..but still sitting in San Diego, appears it’s got a battery issue and no one was dealing with it until I called Ford customer service yesterday. Dealer and Ford Social Media weren’t helping at all.

The dealer has no power to do anything once shipped and usually neither does the manufacturer. I've seen dead batteries in vehicles at rail drops and arguments between the railroad and transport company over who is responsible to get it running. Seen it take weeks to resolve.

40 days - poop or get off the pot shipping peeps. I had to call customer service and Grace there in Florida sent out an APB…Ford can do something.
