Meant to post an update earlier. I got my truck back about two weeks ago. I’m glad I brought it to the dealership I bought the truck from to get repaired. They did take a lot longer than expected to repair the truck but ultimately I’d rather wait to have the truck repaired correctly than to have them rush to get it done with sub par results. I picked the truck up a day before I helped my brother move to Colorado so I didn’t get a lot of time behind the wheel to ultimately post an opinion but after a full week I can say 100 percent I wouldn’t know that the truck was in an accident. One thing I did notice since I change my oil (happy Ford allows car owners to do that without voiding their warranty) is that one of the nut plates on the back side of skid plate (forward T30 bolt) came out when I was taking it off. Not a big deal to me as it was an easy fix. Also I had to peel off the Lamin-x smoked out side marker sticker on the right side since the left side was taken off due to the dealership replacing that side marker.

That is very true. We both weren’t going fast thankfully. Doesn’t look like there’s any frame damage but I guess I’ll find out for sure when I go get a quote hopefully in the next few days.
Body shop will be 5 grand
This literally just happened today after work. The other driver was taking a left as I was turning right onto the same street at a 4 way traffic light. Literally just got this truck exactly 2 months ago. Drove my last vehicle for over 8 years never been in an accident with it. I get this truck and just my luck I get in an accident; go figure. Luckily airbags didn’t go off and I can still drive it. Something tells me the bumper and any other Tremor specific replacement parts are going to be hard to find. This kills me 😭🤦🏻‍♂️

It was more than that getting the work done from the dealership. Closer to 10 grand but thankful I have good car insurance and it wasn’t my fault.

It's possible that is not the case at all. Uptake on the Tremor was a fraction of what Ford thought it would be, so those parts may well be on hand.

Yeah I did a little research before I brought it in. The dealership I brought it to told me the parts cosmetic wise were only 4 days out. Glad I ultimately brought it to a Ford Dealership to be repaired.

appreciate the insight. I'm admittedly ignorant on the process outside the fact that I'm glad I have coverage for uninsured drivers.
In Florida uninsured motorist only covers medical bills, does not cover cost to fix your truck. Many seniors drop it, because we have medicare to cover our medical. Ask your insurer what will uninsured motorist cover in your state.

Thanks for that info!

as an update, I got everything fixed. Just waiting on tailgate letter inserts. I’m only out $200 for now. I’d be shocked if he ever pays up via subrogation, but that’s a Progressive issue
