The Maverick Has Landed

Dealer delivered my new 2023 XLT AWD with this morning. This is a daily driver work truck for me to keep the miles off my Bronco. I haven't driven it yet (I've never driven a Maverick at all). Seems comfortable and I'll give I a spin later this evening. After waiting 3 years for the Bronco I wasn't going through that again so I found this one on a dealers lot Monday about 100 miles from me. Everything was taken care of remotely and I never stepped foot in the dealership. They delivered it to my house this morning. Paid $2000 over MSRP but it's the same price or lower than the 24 I built (and actually ordered but have since cancelled). I made about $8,000 from my local dealer on a Maverick and 2nd Bronco that I sold back to them so it's all good. Dealerships are no longer loyal so neither am I!!!

Logged a few miles today and it's just a cool little truck. Really like the "hold" feature. I don't feel like Big Daddy DG in it but that's not what I bought for. Added a tonneau, bed rug, floor mats, and tailgate damper. I'll get nano ceramic installed next week and that will be it as far as mods go (it's a work truck ya know). Also installed some DD fog lights on the Bronco.
