No there's not much moving you can do. However these kits pretty much fit perfect so you won't really be off when you apply it. Some are buying a vinyl like sticker and those are good to wet so you can slide them in place. These are thick so its easy to apply rather then a thin sticker.
Yes there's the cheap one and the ones you mention $20 verses $45

Yes there are cheaper options, which I'm glad everyone has that choice. I don't know if the knock offs come with any warranty, but the bonus to the official Ford product is they are fully warranted. I'd have to look at the paper but I think it's 3 years 30,000 miles, so if anything would happen to them, I can go to any Ford dealer and they'll replace them.

Hello Jordan,
We picked up our Maverick on Saturday but are waiting to put the Ford letters on until we have a constant 60 degrees. Maryland weather is iffy this week. I have the paperwork that came in the box, but I'm not sure I read anything about a warranty. If you do find that, will you post here or send me a message.
Thanks,
Diane

Meh, they'll probably make you jump through hoops to file a warranty claim or something like that. Either way, I honestly couldn't care less about going through any process to replace something that cost me $35. I'd rather just order another set and have it shipped to my house than to go to a dealership. But that's just me.

My Maverick came in over the weekend and I installed the black lettering kit from Ford accessories. Here's a before and after shot on carbonized gray. Very easy to install they line up perfectly.
