I believe this dealership scratched the tailgate on my Ford Maverick while I was signing papers for the truck - the service guys took the truck while I was signing papers to do a recall service. I drove off the lot and realized the scratches 2 hours later near home when I stopped at my in laws to show off the truck.
Putnam offered to have their shop "touch it up". But a simple touch would look terrible and isn't the right way to fix a scratch on a brand new truck. Plus I would have to drive a total of 8 hours (2 hours each way, 2 trips to drop off and pick up) and miss two days of work for the touch up job.
I found a Ford Certified Collision center in my town and tried to coordinate Putnam to pay for the repairs done at the collision center. Their response? Completely ghosted me. I have left a dozen voicemails and text messages over the last several weeks. No response. When I call to speak with Shane or Max, I am told they are available - then the person comes back on the phone and asks what it's regarding...when I'm transferred, my calls go to their voicemail.
Completely unprofessional. Stay away from Putnam Ford.
