Status of Maverick order?

Hi, I ordered my Maverick (Alto Blue/Lariat LUX/2.0/4KTow/FX off-road/Sunroof+) July 21st, was told scheduled build date of Nov 6th but no news / VIN. Is this normal? Thanks!

Yes that is very normal. Sorry but welcome to the world wondering how ford will do things.

You should have a VIN if you were scheduled

The VIN and a tracking link should be on that scheduling email.

If you have been scheduled the dealer should be able to tell you the VIN and current status

Just as an update, I was "scheduled" for Nov 1st Build Date but it looks like it got switched by Ford. I don't have a Build Date so just in the waiting que with thousands of others. Thanks for the replies.

Actually it is likely that it was never actually set. When you first see a production status, it only means it is on the list to be scheduled. It's a game of semantics with Ford.
