Currently 30 states are charging additional fees for Plug-In Hybrids & Full Electric Vehicles. Considering some Maverick owners have a Lightening retail order, would you still consider purchasing a PHEV or EV?
I live in CA. Governor Newsome signed into law a bill stating that all automotive dealers will be required to sell non-ICE vehicles starting in 2035 (with step tier phasing out starting in 2026 (35%). CA still offers the Clean Air Act rebate for these vehicles.
Estimated CA DMV fee increase is $153 starting January 2021 for EV or PHEV purchased 2020 or newer. The EV Fee portion goes up each year in accordance with Consumer Price Index/CPI.

Not sure how you feel, but I'm glad I have the Maverick because the new eMotor and Motor Gen "act" like a PHEV without having to plug it in.
