SoCal Meetup that didn't quite work out

Although it was Mother's Day, the Tustin Legacy event was held yesterday. I tried to get the word out on the SoCal Mavericks forum. Yet, the notice was late and I am sure others had Mother's Day plans.

I, however, had permission to go from SWMBO, and I was hoping someone else would too.

There was an interesting, but light, car attendance.

I suggested the Mavericks park toward the rear of the lot. I was the only one to show up with my Maverick.

Saturday would be better when the Mess Hall is open for coffee lunch etc. Sunday it seems people do other things like church.

I didn’t see the notice but wouldn’t have been able to make it even if I did. But in other news, your rig looks great!

As much as I agree, the organizers could not get Saturdays. The lot is "open" for this event -- no parking fees (or validated parking) required.

I am an executive member of AYSO soccer. The Southern California EXTRA program finals will be held next Saturday and Sunday. Thus, I expect to be working on one of the soccer fields. I wish I could be at the meetup.
