I just received notice yesterday, January 20, that my build date will be the week of March 7. I ordered my XLT hybrid on June 23, from South Dakota
June 15th Texas
Unacceptable.
I’ve been waiting over 7 months. It’s not worth it.
NorthShore, my Maverick was ordered July 3 and is built and en route to Chapman Philly on Jan 28. Yeah it was a long wait but with all the delayed availability items and changes to my order to compensate, I expected a long wait. I would fully expect you get some good news from Ford in the next week or so as they clear up older orders. Who did you order from and how complex was your build. I know my order was held up for the spray in liner, but thankfully it was built hust before Ford eliminated it from Lux package. See good things come to those who wait. Hang in there brother, it will be worth the wait.
I ordered from Hempstead Ford on Long Island. Supposedly a larger dealership with plenty of allocation…. I have an Ecoboost Alto Blue XLT AWD with Lux package And soft tonneau cover. A vehicle I’ve seen on this forum delivered for months. I have given my dealership until the end of next week to either get me my order or find an explorer that I feel comfortable leasing. Otherwise I have to move on as we need a second vehicle with my fiancé changing jobs on February 1st. The excitement of this vehicle has waned and I would be ok walking from it now into an SUV with just as much or more room with more features.

LOL. I guess I will. I was just hoping for an early delivery because I have some things to get fixed on my F150. Heat doesn't work on driver side and the display monitor went out. No phone/climate/backup/radio and everything else. lol
At this point I'm numb to the whole process. My car is high mileage but doesn't seem to be dying, so I'm just gonna enjoy having no car payments and treat the Maverick as a nice surprise when I finally get it.
