Honolulu Ford (Lithia Motors) - 9 months later, dropped a bomb on me for $5995 Hawaii Market Adjustment and $2000 Arctic Blast. Of course they weren't going to say anything until the truck was on the way or less I could have canceled the order and THEY WOULDN'T HAVE A TRUCK TO SELL AT PROBABLY EVEN A HIGHER MARKUP THAN ABOVE!!!

They actually want you to cancel so they take possession and sell it at a higher markup. It's best to list them so no one will do business with these dealers in the future.

Yup and that's why I did, and am doing it everywhere I can. Hoping the word gets out and people get smart to cancel (with Ford) there orders before build and the vehicles don't get shipped then they got shit to rip people off with...

Oh, and MSRP on that unit is $28,555, so they apparently want $17,345 over MSRP for a used vehicle with "193 miles".

I just went to chat over there at Kieth Hawthorne Ford in Belmont, NC and asked if they realized that they’re ruining their reputation and nobody will want to do business with them when they mark a Maverick up by 17 thousand dollars. She told me to have a nice day and ended the chat.

Thank you for letting us know what a shady bunch of jerks they are over at that dealership. It’s near where I live and now I know to never ever do business with them. Ever.
