You have a Harvey Dent thing going on there.

At least with a truck you can't see both sides at the same time.

Always park with the steelies next to a wall.

I love your “baby steps”! That’s how it should be! Get a solid and reliable entry level vehicle, then upgrade the things that mean the most to you. (Yes, tires and wheels have the most impact!)

IMO the Continentals aren't worth the cost to reshoe. I snagged some Bronco Sport alloys with Continentals for $250 for the set. They were fresh take-offs with 9/32 tread. I sold my brand new steelies with the same Continental model for $270. Those somehow with only 100 miles on them were at 8/32. I did poney up ~$100 for a nice set of McGard lug nuts though.

If any of you folks need tires, there's a nice deal going on at Ebay right now, 20% off max of $200 for select tire sellers. Discount Tire is one of them. I got a set of Yokohamas for a little over $400. If you've had to buy new tires within the last couple of years, you know that's a good deal.

Nice truck!
