The buyer of the first set got them shipped for a low-cost ... using the "Discount Tire to Discount Tire [America's Tire out here] corporate rate using FedEx. The wheels dropped off at an America's Tire store in San Ramon, CA ... and shipped to a Discount tire in Orlando, FL. Out of areas buyers should seek such a method to ship. Worked well.
Corporate "shipping rates" are very reasonable.
Boxed details". 22 x 22 x 12 and 35 pounds.
Wheels are 'double boxed' ...

Boxed and ready to ship, each wheel is in a 22x22x12 inch box that is 35 pounds.
Wheels are double boxed.
Shipping:
As an example, a fellow was able to SHIP each box the $25 ... from one Discount Tire Store to another ... (out here in CA, Discount Tire is known as America's Tire). The "receiving store" used their FedEx account ... and the local store where i dropped-off the wheels had the FedEx shipping labels all set ... so buyers should seek this as a means to ship. The wheel buyer then bought new tires at the Discount Tire store ... so they were 'in the loop' ...
So, shipping via the above, or using your company's or a friend's company "commercial account" (FedEx or UPS) will make shipping cost very attractive.
