Register without dealer

Don’t know of another area to post, this seems like best on the site. Question is how can I register a vehicle I’m purchasing from dealer and don’t want them involved? They all have a set fee and are never budge for doing the Tax, tag , title. So I would like to find a way before the Maverick arrives. I would assume leave at dealer, take bill of sale to tag office and register it. If I pay cash. No lender involved. If I use a lender I would assume that info is given to the registration office when applying. Anyone done this? I did it with an out of state boat , except it was delivered to me.

You're not getting out of the document fee even if you register it yourself.

Where I live (Arkansas), after you buy a new vehicle, you have 2 months to register & license it at any state DMV office, not the stealership. Stealerships still charge document fees. Mine was $129.
