Red dots on map in sync 4 navigation

Does anyone know why these pop up, what they represent and what they’re used for? They’re all around my work and my house so I’m assuming it’s places that you stop? They’re peppered all over my town but are super concentrated at my job and house. I only use CarPlay for navigation so I’d like to turn it off if possible.

I believe those are 'bread crumbs', showing where you've been. Should be a setting in sync to disable

@rungorillarun You’re absolutely right. I just did some more digging on google and found out how to disable. If anyone else is wondering how to turn it off here’s how:

Settings - SYNC Navigation - More Settings - Routing and Map Preferences - Breadcrumbs - Off
