My size 13s have been known to occasionally make contact and scuff the plastic at the bottom inside of the door getting out of the vehicle.
My two week old XLT has already accumulated a couple light scuffs.
I've found plenty of sill protectors on line but nothing for the doors.
Any ideas or links out there ?

I used this PPF on many areas in the interior, especially the bottom of the door panels. It works really well just need to cut to size.

I need to try that, I didn't realize that I was scuffing the rubber seal on the door sill by draging my size 12s across it.
I notice on my Mazda CX-3 the seal is much better protected.

That would be a good idea to protect the armrest areas also. My wife’s ring was scratching the door when she pulled it shut. I put those cups in that fill in the opening between the pull and the armrest. They help however I think the tape might work better.

Not having my Mav yet, is any of this plastic have any texture on them? If so how does this 3M product adhere to it?

I've had mine istalled for a few weeks and there is no sign of peeling, etc. It looks like it adheres pretty solidly. You just have to lay it down with a bit of pressure to remove any bubbles. The Maverick interior does have a texture but it still works. I will see if I can post a couple of pictures. I used it on the door sills, bottom of door panels, where the seat belt hits, etc. I still have left over PPF, trying to decide where else to use it.

Yes, I was thinking of the armrest as well. I have plenty left over.

I used this thick 4”
Ford Maverick Protection for door bottom plastic ? IMG_1227
clear film which I purchased through Amazon. The film holds up very well and leaves no residue on plastic. The main reason I used this film was to protect the plastic as well as the paint on the rear door entry from our dog jumping in and out of the Maverick.
