Looks functional but I bet passengers kick it all the time. No passengers, no problems right.
I’d bet it’s not popular because we like to see our add ons.

I installed these today. It took a little wiggling and working it over the vent that is under the seat. While this seems like a good idea when looking at it you have to factor in the seat positions.

If the front seats are more forward then these vents can actually move some air, but if they are more back the vents basically are aimed up into the bottom of the seat. My seats are typically all the way back so this does not appear that it is going to be useful. I would say look to see where you normally have your front seats. If you can almost see the floor vent that is already there then this add on may be helpful. But if your seats are back far enough you can't see that vent then you likely will find that the vent is pointed up into the bottom of the seat. I don't think this mod is going to work out.
