Proposed April 30 Orange County meet at the OC Model A Ford pancake breakfast

I posted a reply in the Carcadia March 26 event instead of posting this as a new thread... until now.

I own a 1931 Ford Model A Fordor 160B - in addition to a 23 EB AWD XLT Maverick - and belong to the Orange County Model A Ford club has a pancake breakfast scheduled for Sunday, April 30 at Hart Park in Orange.

The club cannot call it a car meet. Yet, it might be a good opportunity for Maverick owners to have a fun place to meet in Orange County.

The pancake breakfast is a fundraiser event for the OC Model A Ford Club. I know the grand prize - a complete Model A Burtz engine - is not enticing to Maverick owners (yet, I would buy it from you if you win). I heard the other prizes should be interesting to non-Model A owners.

Unfortunately, I won't be there with the Model A or Maverick. The pancake breakfast was originally scheduled for March 19. Yet, it had to be rescheduled due to the weather. I already made plans to be in northern California for Luft for the rescheduled weekend.

I hope so... Unfortunately, I won't be there (despite posting it) since I made plans for that weekend before the OCMFCA rescheduled the event to that weekend.

I would not have been there with my Maverick anyway for two reasons 1) I loaned the Maverick to my son and he is located up in the Bay Area. And, 2) I would drive the 1931 Ford Model A Slant Window Deluxe Fordor (160B).

I am glad you were able to make it and sad others were unable to meet up with you. I hope it was fun. I am sure I will be there with the Model A next year and will try to have my wife bring the Maverick.
