Production date changed

My production date changed from 12/9 to 12/17. Any thoughts from anyone? Is this a good thing, a bad thing or just Ford?

It nearly always changes at least once. Don't pay much attention to the tracker until it says Built. Or better yet wait till it says shipped. Then expect delivery from 2 to 8 weeks after shipped date.

I think they got backed up a bit. I went from 12/16 build week to 1/6 build week...yesterday. Nasty surprise but I'd have to think we're not the only ones being delayed. Sounds like people who were supposed to be built last week are now being built this week, and to make up for it people like me got pushed to after the holidays.

My production date went from 12/16 to 12/30 - sounds like they didn't receive a shipment of the standard 17" Grey XLT wheels (among other things), which is what I think is holding my order up. Not too concerned unless it keeps slipping!

EDIT: Looks like my Window Sticker is now available and my status has changed to "In Production" - at least I can be confident it will be built, even if Ford's system doesn't get the dates right!

My date went from 12/20 to 1/20. If it slips any further, I'll end up in Job 2.

I thought I heard that the plant was shut down from 23 or 24 Dec to 6 Jan 2025 for Christmas New Year. Maybe not.

I don't know if we know the shutdown dates, actually - I would be (somewhat) surprised if the Hermosillo plant was closed for much more than the 25-1st, personally, but would love for someone to comment if they've got the dates!
