Private Order Question

Ford tracker is finally showing that my truck is in production. I was wondering how and when I will find out about my private offer. I know it may be a little early but just need some confirmation.

My truck is only scheduled for production on the 20th but I called ford marketing and they were able to see and give me the certificate number on the 23 to 24 private offer. I would start pushing on your dealer to sort it out now.

Assuming your dealer did the 23-->24 order correctly using the same order number for 24 as for 23, Ford Customer Service should be able to tell you how much and give you a certificate number. If your dealer cancelled the 23 order and your 24 order has a different number, my understanding is the system sees it as a new order, not a transition order and you will not get price protection via a certificate. If you kept copies of both your 23 order and 24 order, you will know the answer. Each trim and drive train within trim has a different amount.

And make sure the offer is in the system when you are in the dealer finance office!

When I called my dealer, they acted like they didn't know what a private offer was and said I would have to bring it in so they can look at it. I asked if could I talk to someone who would more likely know, and he said if he didn't know nobody else would either. You got to love the confidence of salesmen that don't have enough humility to ask others for more information.

Anyway, I got an email from Ford saying my Maverick shipped, so I called Ford this morning from the number given in post 2 and received the following concerning the private offer.
