Making the 5+ hour trek to South Padre with my wife later this week. I wanted to make sure the front is protected since it will get destroyed with bugs. It took 3 months to clean my Mustang the first time we made this trip. Added the AVS bugflector and the Mabett fender flares (taped underneath) while I was at it.
Rotated the tires and detailed the wheels, detailed the interior, clay bared and waxed the paint, and 303'ed all the exterior plastic. Needless to say I'm pretty whooped.

First time we went down was 2007 for our 10 year, in my 2006 Mustang GT and stayed at The Palms. We've been several times since and air B&Bed with our kids. It just the wife and I again this year and staying at the Palms again. Easy, inexpensive, on the beach. Beach side cafe and bar are the bonus. We'll be down 6/27-7-2. Very welcome break. I keep an eye out for Mavericks!
We're excited to get back after a couple years.
