Hi all I’m new to the Maverick but not to the tech, wife has a Hyundai Sonata Hybrid that gets 50 +/- mpg I just traded a Nissan Leaf so have to remember how to put gas in the vehicle again decided on the Maverick Hybrid because it can be flat towed behind my RV and gets great mpg. I got luck enough to find this XL for 2000 above MSRP. Put new rims and a sprayed in liner and can be happier with it.

It honestly breaks my heart seeing excitement for paying over MSRP, but I'm glad you got what you wanted.

I didn’t mind terribly because during the chip shortage I sold my Ram 2500 for enough more than I paid for it to pay for my Nissan leaf which essentially was then free, I then traded the leaf for this truck and basically paid 10,000 this will likely never happen again in my lifetime. Probably one of the few positive things that came from the pandemic.

Yea I have done the same in the past 4 years too. I'm looking to make the Maverick my last one for a long time.

It's funny seeing a Santa Cruz and a Maverick in the same household... most would consider that a sin on this site lol.

Very well built vehicles, while our work force got fat and lazy “not speaking for the entire workforce” our competitors started moving ahead of us. When all the competition puts a small truck on the market next year it’s gonna be interesting to see what happens in relation to the greedy dealers.
