Why do a lot of people shy away from the factory sprayed bed liner? I had that on my 2016 Silverado, and it was great. Took my 2006 to Line-X, and they lost my tailgate hardware and cross threaded some standard non metric fasteners.

Actually, I would have preferred to order the bed liner from Ford. However, the dealer indicated that bed enhancement factory add-ons, such as covers, liners, etc., often extend lead time. He advised getting the liner added locally so I didn't order it. If anyone has actual experience with getting a factory bed liner and the impact, if any, on delivery lead time I'd appreciate hearing about it. I can easily add it to the order.
