New Maverick Owner from Northwest Arkansas

Just a quick hello after finding this forum. Looked at the Rangers and other trucks for a while before signing the papers on a 2025 FX4 last night. No pics taken yet, will add some soon hopefully.

Color is Carbonized Gray Metallic. Nothing fancy beyone the FX4 package and XLT Luxury package. Also came with floor liners, so no need to make a purchase at Weathertech for this vehicle. Engine is the 2.0L Ecoboost.

My vehicle search was between a Tacoma and a Maverick. Went back and forth for weeks before deciding on the smaller Maverick. I'm not 100% sold that I made the correct choice, but I don't realistically see myself needing to haul anything huge, and I'm not towing anything at all now with no plans to in the future.

I was a driveability tech at ford in the DFW area before becoming a service advisor, and briefly a service manager. All that was 20 years ago now. Owned nothing but Fords until 2015, then nothing but Toyotas until this purchase.

Anyway, that's me. Time to go browsing some more of this community and catching up on all things Maverick.

welcome. I have a 2024 hybrid XLT in the same color. I am also a Ford person since my grandfather sold Fords in San Antonio. And I have family now in Bentonville area.
This is a fun little truck to drive and play with. You will find a lot of useful info on this site.
