My hybrid xlt finally got scheduled for production after a year

After almost one long year of ordering my maverick, the day has arrived. I received emails from ford saying my model would be delayed and eventually wouldn't be produced because of the options on it (luxury package). In the midst of giving up and looking for another vehicle, I got an email with a VIN and a scheduled date last monday. Fingers crossed I see her before October because I'm currently only on 2 wheels..

What you got was a scheduled build week. I received my build week as October 17th. I too was happy to get my vin a week ago. It seems that most people with build weeks have been pushed back more than once. Once you get a build date, that is pretty locked in. I hope your Mav does get built in September. I am telling you that you have a chance. I just wouldn't bank on it. Good luck!
