I thought I would update everyone on my Maverick status. On 7/14/21 I ordered a Rapid red Ftrst Edition Hybrid. I realized that it was a late production unit. My order was scheduled for production on the week of 1/17/22. I thought that was great. On 1/31/22 Ford emailed me it was produced. I already had Ford pass and my Maverick was there. Delivery was scheduled for 3/2/22. That still seemed far away. Less than a week later another email from Ford stated they needed more time to check over my new truck. At this time delivery has been delayed until 5/31/22! This really seems excessively late. Ford states they want me happy with my purchase quality and safety. I would be happy with a timely delivery. Don't get me wrong. I am a loyal Ford owner. I believe they have quality vehicles. However. This process now frustrates me. I never thought a first edition model would be held up until almost the end of the production run. Anyway thanks for listening.
