Hey Connor!I got my Maverick in December of 2023, it is basically a base model XL with a few options, like power mirrors.
First thing I knew I had to do to her was to get rid of the stock steelies, so I did EXTENSIVE research on what type of wheels I wanted, and I knew I wanted to be unique. I ended up picking up these O.Z. RALLY wheels on tirerack with some Pirelli P-Zero tires. These things look and feel great, they’re just a pain to clean.
Logically, what do you do after getting new wheels? You lower the car! I decided to go with the Eibach Pro-Kit lowering springs to give the car a more aggressive stance (hard goal for a Maverick) and I think it worked out extremely well.
After this, I wanted to tackle some sound mods, because stock the 2.0t in the Maverick kinda sounds like a lawn mower. To start making the car sound better, I threw on a Steeda Blow off valve, and driving the car is now a blast. (I don’t actually have a picture for this one, but I’m sure you can imagine the fun pshhhhhh sounds to at come from it) Got the fog lights from Diode Dynamics and threw those on there, it was a scary install because it requires you to cut through the bumper, but I’m happy with how they turned out and with their functionality
