Mud Flaps / Splash Guards -- MOUNTING CLIPS

So I'm not an 'off-roader' but I do live a short ways down a dirt road which occasionally gets some big mud puddles. So I've bought 3 different sets of mud flaps / splash guards from Amazon. Each set had a different style of mounting clips to attach them. No complaints about any of the flaps themselves, but none of the clips has been worth a ----. I've lost the front flaps on all 3 sets in no time flat, and I am hardly abusing them! If they won't stay on for me, they don't stand a chance for anyone who does some actual off-roading.

Suggestions for some clips that actually work?

I put mabett mud flaps on, about 18 months ago.

I also installed Mabett mud flaps and reused the plastic anchors that came on the truck. Haven't lost any of the anchors and they are still as tight as the day I put them on in October of last year.
