Mounting dash cam on mirror arm

Has anyone tried a mount like this on a Maverick? Wondering if it'll fit properly- https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0991GQDYY?ref=emc_s_m_5_i_atc

It goes around the mirror arm and holds the dash cam so you don't have to stick it to the window. I've got a tint and don't want to stick it to that, plus I've had bad luck with windshield adhesives and having to remove a dash cam to replace a windshield.

Just got a email link from Car & Driver. This week they evaluated the 10 best dash cams for 2025. Anyone who may want a dash cam this is a good starting place to look

Very similar to the one I use. It's much better that a suction cup.
