Hmmm, the price protection information also has a 2016 Ford photo. Can we be sure this is still in effect as stated? I had one dealer state there is no price protection while another said they always have it....

The way I understand it clicking protected only means financing at least on the 22's. That is in Smart Vincent. Unless there is another place where this is specified. Have yet to find anyone who can say where you can look up if the price is protected. Seems like it's an unwritten rule. When I recieve my truck the msrp will be higher than the time I order it. The dealer is supposed to be re imbursed for this difference. Where this is specified I do not know.
actually bought it last night. I waited 13 months!

The price protection memo is an essential part of your new vehicle pick up checklist if your dealing with people you don't trust 100%.

In my case the F&I person I'm dealing with knows that I know and the doc-u-sign process will be so seamless I practically have to show up, get the mandatory functionality instructions on the vehicle's operations and drive off the lot.

I thought that would take you to the exact clip. Anyways Tim does a short on Price protecion and it is under Long McArthur and then price protection. He says exactly what we have been discussing and What recourse we have is to ask to speak with someone as high as you can get starting with the manager.

Thanks all I seen the Tim discussion like others have said the dealer needs to co operate.

ford has no customer service or marketing dept. that will speak to us ordinary folk-they hire a bunch of operators and call it customer service and listen to us air our gripes and then they blah, blah, blah us and say there is nothing they can do
