What did they spray it with? Plastidip? It looks great but will it hold up? I really think a matte black version would sell well for you. I have seen other matte black covers but they don't include the lower finger hole part.

Hey Maxzina,
Here is an example from a competitor of a matte black handle cover with texture but without the finger hole gaurd. If you made one with the same finish but with the extended finger gaurd I would buy it 100%. Otherwise it will be a pass from me and just guessing many others would feel the same. Thanks for consideration.

I have the gloss black skull caps which is part of the Lariat package. But I agree the tailgate which is already matte black and the rail caps etc. the gloss black would not look good.

There is nothing wrong with gloss black trim pieces, especially on a higher trim vehicle. As long as everything matches. I have an XLT and everything is matte. It would look out of place to have a glossy rear tailgate handle. It just doesn't make sense to me why matte wouldn't be an option. Unfortunately, I don't think Maxzina is going to change their product options. But that won't stop me from asking lol!

Some owners have used spray painting to create a matte black color by re spraying bright black, which looks very good.
