I have the Mabett cup holder/trash can. If you have rear floor mat that also goes over the hump, the holder/can is too long to fit securely in the Maverick slot. The only way to have the holder/can fit all the way down in the slot is to cut out the mat covering the hump.

Does this can fit all the way into the Maverick slot even if the floor mat covers the hump?

I second this question. If the trashcan fits over most over-the-hump mats, I'd buy one.

I have the Mabett cup holder/trash can. If you have rear floor mat that also goes over the hump, the holder/can is too long to fit securely in the Maverick slot. The only way to have the holder/can fit all the way down in the slot is to cut out the mat covering the hump.

Does this can fit all the way into the Maverick slot even if the floor mat covers the hump?

Hello, I just asked our R&D personnel. They said that when developing this trash can, they considered that installing the floor mats would not affect its use, and even if there is a hump mats, it can be installed in the corresponding position. Our hook on the back can be embedded without affecting it.

I received my Maxzina trashcan/cup holder today. I have a floor mat that covers the rear hump and the trashcan/cup holder I had before wouldn't lock into the FITS slot at all with the floor mats installed. This one does slide into the slot. It has sort of a two-step FITS adapter. With the floor mats it fits on the first notch. It's not quite as solid as I'd like, but it's not going anywhere and it's much better than just a simple cupholder insert.

My only suggestions for future development:

The cup holders being so close together means only small drinks can fit in them. The one thing I really liked about the other brand was the cup holders were farther apart and larger drinks could fit in them. If that trash can had been a fraction of an inch shorter so that it'd fit in the FITS slot, it would be perfect. This one is a close second, but the only one I can use at the moment.

The quality seems good. It looks nice.

I received the Maxzina trash can/cup holder today today - I currently have a Mabett trash can/cup holder and am deciding which to keep in the Maverick. The other one goes to my daughter

I like the Maxzina size and that is wraps around the console. The quality seems good.

I agree with dfwrere that the cup holders should be a little further apart.

I would also suggest you look at the Mabett hinge and spring set-up in the center of the trash can flap. It is easier to push open and seems sturdier than the Maxzina" plastic pivots and springs on each side. I can see the Maxzina breaking before the Mabett.

Also, the Mabett trash can flap is bigger/longer than the Maxzina allowing for larger items to be discarded
