This kit is a coilover kit that is designed to raise or lower a truck. I have the rear springs and shocks for lower, so this setup will work for lowering your Maverick Hybrid.

Originally cost $1795, but I decided to lift instead and installed spacers.

The height is adjustable from OEM height, down to 1.5" lowered, both front and back.

Manufacturer description :

Our most versatile suspension is here! Lower your car by 1.5" for summer, and raise it back up to 1.5" over OEM ride height for winter with ease! No parts to change, just adjust the suspension and go!

Can you share the damper body and shaft length measurements?
Ford Maverick Maverick Lowering Coilover Kit - Flatout Suspension (2WD/Hybrid) - $400 1709838022175

the drop value of 1.5" seems understated, just want to know if adjustment is available to go lower or if the body is too long
thanks!

The entire Blue / Green part of your image are threads. For lifting, I actually easily could put 2" on it, but you start to run out of threads to feel confident. But if your goal is to lower (which these are much better for), then you have way, way more than 1.5" of thread to use. 1.5" is recommended based on ride comfort. The more that you go, the more you have to start preloading the coil. So, yes you can do a lot more than 1.5", and likely 2" is still just as comfortable ride at 1.5", but after that you will push the base into the spring by preloading it. At some point the threads will start coming out of the bottom of the strut as you thread it up, but I am not sure how far until that happens, but it is way way past 2" of drop before it would come out the bottom.
