Man that truck looks good! I wish I would have been able to snag a cactus grey!! I like that bed rack setup too 👍

Looks like a beautiful place, I've never been out west. I'm hoping to change that this summer!

Thanks! I think I saw your review on Amazon! Did you drill thru the bed rails? Eeek
Do you currently have a Mav? The bed rails already have holes pre drilled under the plastic.

Yeah, I do have my Mav. I was under the bed rail installed LED light strip but never noticed the pre-drilled holes.

I'm trying to understand if they will work with my tonneau cover... After studying your Amazon pics, I don't think this rack would work as the rectangular feet stick out flush with the inside of the bed rail plastic. That is where my tonneau cover rail attaches, so they will interfere with each other.

Hmm I wouldn't know since I don't have a tonneau cover. I can also recommend the Yakima Outpost. It's a clamp style setup. I sold it since it was too high for my needs though. Otherwise solid rack.

Bad ass pics, thanks
Took my Mav finally for a little off road drive at Joshua Tree since I installed the 245 70 KO2s and the lift kit. I had considered getting 245 75s but these will definitely need trimming and I didn’t want to make those alterations plus those wheels would be much heavier and eat up more gas.

She did surprising well on dirt, sand and occasional rocks. I’m glad that we didn’t get into any sticky situations though I came prepared with recovering hardware.

Clocked in at a whopping 33MPG at the start on the highway for about the first 50 miles but at the end of the 400mile trip I had 27. Not bad for a 2.0 with all the LA traffic and mountain roads. The KO2s are though pretty noisy on the road.

If anyone in South California looking to do some light off roading, hit me up✌

Anything that clamps to the bed rails won't work with my cover. I need to use T-slot bolts or direct thru like yours.

Do you know if there are additional holes along the rail? I would prefer the rack to be farther back...

You guys can check out more photos here Maverick Maeve of my ongoing build! I'll be posting more about the racks I've used and all the new upgrades for my ultimate off road machine.

We were in Joshua a few years ago. Went down Old Geology Road in a 2WD vehicle with decdent clearance. At a certan point we started going down hill over sand covered rock and, envisioning spinning wheels on the way back up, discretion go the best of me and I turned around. DO you think that road is doable in a 2WD?
