It was a good day to hike the mesas and canyons at the San Diego Zoo. Blue sky, sunny w/ high clouds, today's high: 72°F. As a retired guy with an annual membership, it's a regular workout.
January typically sees an ebb in visitors, so zoo maintenance is more active. The plants and animals are the primary maintenance consideration, of course, but the zoo's infrastructure is massive, and upkeep is ongoing.
Most of the maintenance vendors drive their vehicles directly into the zoo, parking at the activity site. It's not unusual to see a cluster of working trucks in front of exhibits. Today I noticed the obligatory gaggle of F-150s, and a few Rangers. Also noticed several Mavericks in their working dress.

➔ MY MAVERICK IN THE LOT. 10 MONTHS POST-PURCHASE, STILL PARKING IN THE "SAFE" PLACES, TAKING THE LONG WALK.
