Hi,

My name is David Buschur, I've been in the Mitsubishi racing world since 1989. So 2.0 turbocharged vehicles have been my life for 30+ years.

I retired/sold my shop a few years ago and got rid of all my toys, got into wood working and off roading. I realized after doing that that of the probably 200+ cars I've owned, they all end up sitting in the garage and I drive my trucks, I've always preferred a truck.

I was forced out of retirement in May of 2021 and saw the Maverick was coming out. This is going to be the first new platform we will be doing since I came back. I can't wait!

Plans for the truck will be a spacer lift, tires, full exhaust, intercooler, intake and of course tuning. I'm hoping Cobb jumps on getting it unlocked quickly as I'm a Cobb Pro Tuner.

I'm planning an over landing build with mine so we will be offering a rack for the bed, already have my over landing tent here waiting for the truck! I'd also like to see the truck run deep in the 13's in the 1/4 mile.

The truck below is what I've ordered, I have a build date of the Sept 23rd. XLT, FX4, Max Tow, 2.0T. I haven't been this geeked to build something in a long time!

Hi Dave! Old import guy here. I used to come out for the sport compact nationals & shootout years ago. Glad to see you’re getting into the game! I can’t wait to see what you do for a fmic & catch can! I’m near Akron if you need another truck locally for test fitting 😇🤣.

Thanks guys! I'm hoping my dealer is wrong about the time it takes to get the trucks once they are built! He told me to expect it mid November. I was hoping to get some 1/4 mile times from it stock and after some mods before the snow flies!

Since catch cans were mentioned, that is an absolute product we will be doing. The power we've gained is pretty ridiculous, granted on higher HP engines but in every case, it all adds up, plus the intercooler doesn't get contaminated and lose it's efficiency.

From what I’ve seen based on someone’s post online, it looks like delivery to the east coast is 4-5weeks after your build week. Mine 2.0eb 4K is scheduled for oct 4th, so I’m hoping to have it the 1st or 2nd week of November.
