Hello! Have enjoyed the contributions and conversations before and after I got my new Maverick. Have been super helpful. Finally registered!
We lucked out and snagged a 2022 that someone pre-ordered a year ago but couldn't be contacted after delivery. Was an XL but with most of the extras added to make it more like an XLT. We moved to 4 acres on an island and realized we needed a pickup truck for light duty work. Hauling to the dump, transporting lumber, furniture. And we do most of our driving on the island so needed a fuel efficient vehicle. I would have preferred a plug-in hybrid, but nothing like that yet.
Loving it so far. 41 mpg in a hilly area without even trying. Just installed a BAK tonneau cover in the nick of time before the rains returned. Had to slide it 1/4 inch toward the tailgate to fit right. I've since ordered a tailgate seal for extra waterproofing from real truck.com.
