I knew I would someday soon replace my 2006 Ranger Sport. But the Colorado is very uncomfortable. And both it and the new Ranger have absurdly high bedrails. (I can just reach down into my current truck's bed and easily grab anything I want.)

I wanted a small handy truck that was more comfortable and had cruise control. (Leg and back problems make this important to me.) And way more storage room inside.

Was so nervous the Maverick would not fit the bill that I skipped the reveal and finally, that night went on YouTube.

OMG! Ford hit a home run!

My screen name shows my primary use. So AMD isn't needed. (And I have an AWD Toyota Sienna-great vehicle.)

I know I will get a Maverick. Leaning toward the hybrid. Was worried about the trans (had a prior CVT) but posts here have eased my mind.

So now. XLT? Yes. But beyond that not sure. Luxury package? Sunroof? Sliding rear window? (BTW ever had loose leaves blow in the slider you forgot to close:)?

Console vault? Love the idea. Ford had a better idea there.

But it is really fun working through all this!

And glad to be here....

If I wasn’t so umm, fancy, to be drawn to Lariat, Lariat Luxury, power hungry and wanting AWD this time around. I would for sure rock a Hybrid XLT, XLT Luxury, Power Moon Roof, Ford Co-Pilot360, Molded Front and Rear Mud Flaps, Tonneau Soft Folding Pickup Bed Cover, Full Size Spare and All Weather Floor Liners. If I can’t operate the rear window electronically, I’d rather skip it all together which is why I didn’t add to my XLT example. Lol. I’d be sitting at $28,370 MSRP.
