So, I've decided that my garage is too dark, and I don't want to go crazy hiring an electrician, but I remembered how Big Ass Fans makes a really bright garage light. Or so they *used* to. They are currently marked unavailable.

Anyone want to share a solution for garage lighting that they use which is motion sensored, and battery powered and bright LED?

I dont know about battery powered but Costco has a motion sensitive and remote controlled overhead shoplight. Just run a extension cord to it.

Those single socket are OK, but the maximum light output is going to be from daisy chaining the tube style shop light LEDs.

Just need one of those screw in sockets to four AC plug converters, and then you can daisy chain to your hearts content. Or do both, get an adapter that has a couple AC outlets for daily chaining LED shop lights, and still put a center panel style in the middle. And as mentioned, put the motion sensor on the switch itself.

Doesn't have to be these, but just an example:

And LEDs are so bright its actually good if they don't come with a reflector to focus the light, it will let it bounce off the ceiling again helping to reduce shadows and produce more even light everywhere.
