LED light strip on dashboard installation?

Hey,

I recently saw a post where someone put led strips along his dashboard. The tool comes with a prying kit to pop open the crack to insert the film.

I cant seem to pry open certain places, they seem completely stuck together? Some places like under the screen, it snucks right in except for near the tune button, it refuses to pry open or allow film to enter.

How can I do this? any recommendations or help? tutorial?

Like this you mean? There should be no prying done to your interior whatsoever, that plastic gets easily scratched. The EL wire just pushes into the crevices
