North Carolina KIA Mirror install problem - Looking for advice - New to the forum

I have a 2024 Maverick Lariat Hybrid. I have had it for a month now and love it. I haven't had a truck since a 1982 Dodge D50.
Installing a A9062-ADUP0 Kia mirror with Homelink. Tapping into black, purple and yellow/green from the overhead map light. Yellow/green reads at 12 v and work fine. Home link works fine. Auto dimming doesn't seem to work. Compass flickers at times. The purple reads only 2.5 v at the tap and the map light plug with the ignition on. Since this seems to be less than 12 v do I need to look for another source for the switched power.

The auto dimming feature is now working. Voltage is still below 12 v but it's working. Now onto other things.

You've posted in the marketplace which is the wrong spot. Not sure exactly what wires you tapped on the map lights but this is how it should be wired up. It's what I followed and the Kia homelink mirror works great.
