Picked up our, or more accurately, her truck, on Saturday. We've moved from Houston, where we ordered the Maverick back in September, to now Arlington. Made the trek down in the morning, and traded in her SHO, and was in and out in less than 2 hours. Fantastic experience, truck was purchased at dealer invoice, and arrived exactly as ordered.

2023 Maverick Lariat Hybrid, Cactus Grey, Lariat lux package, basic 360, bed liner.

Drive back was great, cruised at 85 happily and still pulled mid-30's MPG. Everyone is happy so far, after 2 days.

Does everyone's Maverick make back-up noises? Feels like I'm driving a commercial truck.

This is different. I have a Honda Clarity, and it sings songs when in hybrid mode below 20mph, this is literally a beep beep backup chime, just not as high-pitched, and only in reverse.

Yep, as mandated by federal law for electric vehicles (Maverick hybrid used electric only for reverse). Supposed to warn pedestrians (especially blind ones) of your presence. After a while, you get used to it.

Yep. My KIA RIO Hybrid is twice as loud as our Maverick Hybrid.

Congrats on your beautiful new truck. I am an hour north of you. You made a short drive. I flew to Detroit and drove 1200 mi to get our Hybrid. Drove all interstate in snow and headwind and still got 34-35. Once back in TX we have been doing around 41.
