Inspection on pick up delivery - what to look for?

Hi everyone. First post.

I'm picking up my maverick tomorrow and was wondering if people have noticed trending issues to look out for (SIBL overspray, chipped paint, scratched windows, etc).

Appreciate any heads up on what to look for on the walk around.

Personally, I would take your time and inspect every square inch of your truck, inside and out. Catch damage now before you take delivery so the dealer can address any issue. Don't accept any bullshit from the dealer why they can't/won't fix anything. You mentioned the most common issues.

We had some spots on the headliner which looked like someone with dirty hands touched them.

I took delivery on May 26, 2023 of my new 2023 Maverick Lariat Lux BAP, rollup hard Tonneau cover and the sales rep went over everything in detail did walk around and drove it, everything was perfect. First 20 mile drive on Interstate was 34.5 MPG, I was impressed with power and ride at higher speed.

My New 2023 Ford Maverick Lariat Hybrid was delivered yesterday; it is truly an impressive small truck (see pics) Lux and BAP package on Carbonized Gray is a great contrast color combination. Has Ford rollup hard Tonneau cover, Copilot 360 and Assist, Splashguards, Moonroof, SIBL with rubber bed Mat. Definitely worth the wait, but I hopefully never go through that order and waiting process again.

The dealer experience was very good, Riata Ford in Manor Texas (Austin suburb). I went through a couple sales consultants, but Joshua Esparza, Amanda VanZandt and the Finance Manager; Tony Nguyen went above and beyond to ensure a smooth delivery. No pressure, no Market adjustments and no dealer add-ons or unjustified fees. MSRP with Ford Private Offer for 22MY transition order was applied. I would definitely purchase another Ford from Riata Ford in Manor, Texas.
