Hey all,
I am a bit behind on posting the intro. Joined the forum on 7/14 and received order confirmation on 7/18.
I'm from a family with a long tradition of Fords. Grandfather purchased one the first model T's and model T pickup. He also had a Fordson as the first tractor on the farm. First vehicle I drove (not counting tractors) was the 1982 F-250 farm truck. In the 80's between myself, siblings and parents we owned almost every model: F-150, F-250, F-350, Crown Vic, Taurus, Tempo, Escort, Bronco II, Ranger. (Sadly no Mustang) I've owned other brands recently mostly due to Ford's narrow model selection or getting a bargain too good to pass up. Current family favorite is a 2012 Escape. Purchasing the Maverick for the similarities to the Escape.
If anyone ordered an XL AWD with the 2K hitch, for 2023 I'd like to hear when you took delivery (or if you're still waiting)
