chatting with ford on thursday and they said my maverick was "ordered confirmed". chatted again on saturday and they said it was "in production" but no date. they said there was a newly assigned vin but they couldnt give it to me, that my dealer could. that doesnt sound right to me just going by the thousands of other posts on here. has anyone had a chat like this? dont want to get my hopes up just yet. I have emailed my dealer but havent heard back yet. it hasnt exactly been the most talkative dealer ive dealt with

In the same boat. Chatting with Ford on Friday this is how they responded:

Currently your vehicle is in production. When an order is "In Production," it is being manufactured at one of our factories. For more information regarding your vehicle order, I recommend contacting the New Vehicle Support Team at 1-800-334-4375. Their hours of operation are are 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. EST (Monday-Friday). They are great about getting information for customer regarding their orders.
I did not ask for a VIN, thought I would inquire on Monday when they open.
I have a late order, Jan 11 with an email order confirmation.

If you go to Ford's order tracker put in your order number and Vin number it will give you the information you are looking for along if you scroll to the bottom says view window sticker Click on that and should bring up your window sticker. Plus you should be getting updates on your Maverick from Ford as it moves along the line

Don't have the VIN yet...will call on Monday....
If your Dealer has your email then Ford should have it also, I've gotten all my updates from Ford as my truck moves down the production line at each step. If you haven't already called and ask Ford Maverick customer hotline and ask them if they do infact have your email addresses so you will be in the loop

Yes…Ford had my email from day 1. I verified back when I called marktng folks and customer service. I also rcv’d the confirmation email for order. thanks!

That was the the message I got as well. I'm going to try to chat with someone else today and see if I get any other information or a different response. Mine is a July order

Yes originally said it was in production with a vin they couldn't give me but without a date. Now it's back to order confirmed. I knew it didn't sound right that's why I asked on here and followed up on Sunday

Anyone else having an issue with the order tracker? My Maverick went into production last Monday (a week early with no notification from Ford corporate or dealership) and stayed that way all week. Checked today and when I enter customer number and VIN and hit accept, the page reloads and the fields go blank. Tried a different browser and same problem.
