How to Make it Stop Playing from the Podcast App When I Turn the Key

Not sure what happened, though I am reasonably certain I did something wrong.

Until a few days ago, when I would start the vehicle with the key (It's an XLT) and plug in my cell phone, immediately it would open the Waze app that I usually use for mapping, and the radio would be on to whatever radio channel had been playing when I turned the vehicle off.

NOW, it goes straight to my Podcast app, and plays whatever podcast I had been listening to (I seldom use my podcast app at all, so it's something from months ago.)

Then I have to pause the podcast, get back to the page where all the apps are, select Ford Audio, then select audio, then FM.

How do I go back to the way it was before???

Maybe... Outside of android auto when you're just in the truck's info-tainment system, try source. You have choices: AM, FM & Bluetooth.

Is your phone just close the app and choose the media you want on the radio

Have you recently updated your phone? If you have an android phone (I have the same) there have been updates in Android Auto and one of the settings is to auto play what ever was last used (for me a podcast or Spotify auto play).

iPhone or Android? If Android, on the phone, open the Android Auto app. Scroll down to disable Start music automatically. Should also apply to your Podcasts.
